Just when the Jets thought the media coverage in NYC couldn't get any worse, this was on the front page of this morning's New York Daily News, with a headline about the "Three Ring QB Circus." Adding insult to injury, the paper picked the Jags by ten.

Woody Johnson is going to be upset about the Daily News unveiling the new 2013 Jets uniforms before the official announcement in the offseason. At least, they didn't reveil that Ringling Brothers, Barnum, and Bailey are going to buy a stake in the team.

Don't understand this obsession with the Jets. Really don't. Reminds me of how some Sox fans are so obsessed with the Yankees, but at least the Yankees are good. The Jets suck.

Remnants of the Border Wars. Jets tampered with our HC Parcells during our run to the SB totally de-focusing the HC on the game robbing us of any chance to ever win a SB, so it seemed at the time. Then the same Jets stole our fine RB Curtis Martin in FA.

Then there's the kerfuffle Jets caused Spygate issue you seem to have forgotten but the rest of the NFL hasn't. Selfsame Jets have been sporadic contenders for the AFCE Championship and have actually won a playoff game vs the Patriots with their HC and players constantly taking verbal pot shots at the NE Patriots.

Other than those minor reasons, not so much. Glad to supply clues to the truly clueless.

First, baseball has nothing to do with football not matter how WEEI wants to spin it. Patriots and football first fans are nothing like baseball first fans.

I thought of replying but Patswickedpissah did such a good job. I'll add their claim that we stole Belichick, excuse me I mis-quoted. They claim we stole Belicheat.

(Yes, I know wanting "the cheater" undercuts their cameragate rant and the reply to that is, "Yes, we learned how when you stole Parcells.")

I've seen 1-15 and 2-14 twice. I've seen the Patriots as relevant underdogs, hated favorites, and absolutely irrelevant. Hated is not the best, but it far, far, far from the worst.
