Wow. Someone's in denial. At least he admits that Sanchez's decision making is poor, which doesn't bode well because the Jags defense, while it is terrible, forces the quarterback to make good decisions and precise throws on long drives down the field. That, and the fact that Henne has a pretty decent history against Ryan's defenses (along with just a gut feeling) are the reasons why I think the Jags might pull this off.

Do you really want to play them in the playoffs? Not me. I still have too many bad memories of the Jets coming into Foxboro 2 years ago after be shellacked 45-3 in their previous meeting and beating the Pats.
Sure, I'll grant you this Patriots team is better than the 2010 team and the Jets are worse. But, it took overtime to beat them earlier this year in Foxboro.
That is my fear about playing the Rats in the playoffs.
There is no doubt in my mind that the Pats are head and shoulders above the rodents, but they were in 2010 as well when the Pats shot themselves in the foot.
Any given Sunday as they say, but stranger things have happened.
The last time a strange thing happened, the Rats walked away with feelings of superiority which are actually just delusions of adequacy.

Via several sources on Twitter, gotta love this vote of confidence from Rex:
"If (Sanchez) throws one INT, it doesn't mean he's going to get benched, necessarily."

The Jets and Woody are the prototypical example of why owners shouldn't be meddling with their coaches and GMs.
I am so utterly grateful that we Patriots have Kraft as our owner.
Ryan has had final say over every draft pick since 2009. Sanchez was his guy, 100%. As a matter of fact, reports are that many in the Jets organization wanted Freeman, but Ryan fell in love with Sanchez during their interview.

This thread should be merged into the larger Jets thread. Aside from comic relief the Jets should be viewed only in the rearview mirror. They are no longer any factor to the 2012 Patriots.
We have 2 very important and far more interesting weeks coming up. Why waste a single brain cell thinking about that clown college they got run.ning down in Florian Park. Just say a prayer that they continue to employ that dysfunctional brain trust of Woody, Tanny and Rexy for another season, so come April we can look forward to being amused for another season.
However for the time being FORGET the Jets. We are past piling on in our obsession with the green beans, and the Jets themselves have gone from pathetic to pitiful to a characterture of an NFL team. Just imagine being viewed as a joke by EVERY other team in the league, regardless of what the outcome is on Sunday. Think about it. In our darkest days of Patriot history it never got that bad. Victor Kiam was a better owner than Woody Johnson.....and I just threw up in my mouth after typing that.

RT @vitostellino: rex tells jax media that if tebow is healthy he will be no. 2.
In other word, thanks for the W kid. But we do things differently here.
