Eh if you've watched Andrew Luck's career progress at Stanford then you'd know that there's a very minute chance of that happening.

Still holds onto the ball way too long looking for the big play, costs his team alot at times. Not very accurate, nowhere near the others in that area. If you look at the rest of the QB's, you don't see anything in their game that strikes you as major concerns. Strange choice.
Find an established QB in the league who's better on the run, while being hit, and after a hit than Roethlisberger...

I already established that he's one of the great playmakers. But you take the good with the bad. I'd rather have any of the others on that list (except MAYBE Rivers) and I'd also rather have Brady + Rodgers.

But his goal isn't going to be making himself a carbon copy of Roethlisberger, or any other QB. He's going to try to emulate the strengths without the weaknesses. While I'd think that a Rodgers/Brady/Roethlisberger trio would be a better group to follow than a Manning/Brees/Roethlisberger/Rivers quartet, Luck wouldn't be ingratiating himself with the local fan base if he were talking up the Patriots and Packers QBs when he's a Colt.

Rodgers, Brady and Brees are the three best Quarterbacks in the NFL. Team allegiances and supposed strengths/weaknesses aside if you're not modelling your game on any one or all of the three then you're wasting your time.
In my opinion Rodgers is better at extending the play and using his legs than Roethlisberger. Holding onto the ball and committing to broken plays as regularly as Roethlisberger does isn't something I'd ask my QB to model any part of his game on.
As for Luck, I'm really not fussed on Indy without Manning. Good luck to him.

Considering his current OC was the OC in Pittsburgh these past several years...it's not out the ordinary.
