I voted no ... expanded teams works for basketball and hockey because winning it all is a factor of skill and attrition. In football teams who make the playoffs have already succeeded in the attrition department and it's best to just let the skill win it all. If there were a temporary IR that could change it ... expanded teams would mean a change to the IR system IMO.
