Default OT: Norv Turner burns Rex Ryan

New York Jets' Rex Ryan clarifies quote, San Diego Chargers' Norv Turner fires back - ESPN New York

Background: Ryan says that he would have had a couple rings if the Chargers had hired him instead of Turner, which, of course, is basically saying that he's way better than Turner is. Turner replied with this:

Quote:
I hadn't seen his quote and I was a little bit surprised by the call, and after I saw the quote I didn't have the chance to ask him this, but I was wondering if he had those rings with the ones he's guaranteed the last couple of years.
Awesome.

Nice reposte' !

I guess I'll cut Norv a little slack this week. At least, as long as the Bolts still lose.

Rex has succeeded once again in distracting another team during the week. Norm is such a fool. Jets need this game. They win by 4 at home.

I appreciate that San Diego is 4-1 and is a bigger threat to a home field bye currently, but I'm still rooting for the Chargers to destroy the Jets on Sunday. I'd love for Rex to be silenced as early in the season as possible. Here's to the Bolts "de-feeting" the Jets.

Ah heck..... I forgot the Bolts were playing the Jests. In that case, I can force myself to be a Chargers fan for one game.

But no longer than that.

i thought the same. Rex has taken all the distraction of the bad offense and locker room issues and put it on himself like he did in the playoffs vs pats. Norv shouldnt have responded. Iam waiting for the hilarity tommorow from bart scott who will show he is direspect because someone else called his coach out because its not in their character.

A one-sentence response to Rex's stupid comments has ruined any chance the Chargers have this week? Lol, okay.

Norv probably wasn't even going to say anything until a reporter asked him.

Wow. Never thought I'd have a soft spot in my heart for Norv Turner.

Suck it, Rex.

How many rings does Rex Ryan have now? Two with the NY Jets and 4 with the Chargers makes six, right?

If Rex Ryan won the Super Bowl with the Jets and the Chargers in the last two years, wouldn't he have to be in two places at once?

What happens when two teams (like the Jets and the Chargers) meet in a game and both coaches do every thing they can to not lose?

Thank God for the bye. This is making my head hurt.
