He and Woody were certainly a match made in heaven. For them it's all about beating a rival and making a splash. They don't have a clue how to win a championship.

I would think teams would be happy to challenge and beat the JETS just to shut Rex Ryan up when/if his team misses the playoffs.

If I were Kraft I would offer teams that play the Jets $2 Million in cash if they beat them in a regular season game....(I know, thats illegal, just sayin')

I have read and heard some wacky things coming out of Rex's mouth the past 2 years but now he is challenging ALL teams in the league to beat the Patriots because he wants to win the division??

Pathetic is not a strong enough word for this goof.
Why would the guy who guaranteed a Super Bowl victory two years in a row need the help of the rest of the league to get there?

Yes. All the other teams on New England's schedule will now accept Wrecks's challenge and focus all available energy, resources and brainpower into defeating the Patriots. But Wrecks left out what he would do if no one accepted his challenge. What are the potential consequences?

I don't know but it sounds like Rex is kissing BB's rings right now. The Not Yets aren't good enough to win the division on their own so he's begging for help.

Its not like the league hasn't put a bullseye on the Pats for about, I don't know, a decade now.

You know I am really surprised the Jets do not go out and sign FA Safety Bernard Pollard who is available and a position of need for them.

Imagine what Rex would plan 2 or 3 times a year against Tommy passing in the pocket.

If you read the full quote, it sounds more like he's calling out the rest of the league for not being manly enough to beat up on the Patriots like his own awesome self.

Well last year the only teams that seemed to be aware of this were the Jets and Browns. Now we're in trouble! Cat's out of the bag. Here comes 0-16.

This is like when the Jets made the news before the lockout when they were discussing the fact that they want to improve their team (a novel concept).

Where's the bravado Rex? Will he be wishing for injuries too (and announce it publicly)? Doesn't he realize that the Patriots are not divisional rivals of every team in the league?
