schadenfreude...and they're an amusing bunch.

We do need to get over it though. this could be a superbowl season, why are we wasting our energy focusing on these losers?

Because those losers provide almost infinite LOLs (lulz?)

What they're having trouble with is realizing that their running game just isn't that good. A lot of us called it early in the season, when they were using LT a bunch. The guy's old, and he was never going to last a full season. They brought him in to be a 3rd down back, but because of Green's disappointing performance, he ended up being the #1 guy. Dunno why, because that was unsustainable. Now, their running game is in trouble, and without a consistent running game, Sanchez sucks. He's pretty good as long as the defense has to respect the run, but he's nowhere near the class of QB that can effectively pass when the D is expecting pass.

fwiw, I still maintain that O'Brien deserved criticism after a lot of those losses. Seems like he's made a lot of progress since then, and it also seems like the return of branch + the development of gronk and hernandez has helped a lot. Amazing what an influx of talent will do for you...

Josh McDaniels can bring his videotaping technology to the Jets to get an edge the way the Broncos did. McDaniels is a train wreck and is totally suspect as a coach. There are 100 guys on this board who could be a credible OC or QB coach with Brady and the rest of the offense McDaniels had to work with including Randy Moss at his best.

McDaniels would be a great addition to the Jets coaching staff - another rival he can rot from within.
