God I hope the Chargers beat the Colts. That will bury any talk of Peyton Manning league MVP!

No kidding. I've noticed that all year. The Patriots lost THREE defensive starters before the regular season even started (Bodden, Mcgowan, and Warren). Then Kazcur and Faulk? And Ghost? It's barely mentioned.
There is a big difference between losing guys prior to the season and losing guys during the season.
When the Pats lost guys before the season, it allowed a new set of guys to come in and practice and consistantly play, get used to their duties, the systme, etc.
Colts have been getting killed with injuries DURING the season, all at different times, meaning there has been no consistency. Hell, even the replacements for the injured players have been getting injured themselves.

It's really a big difference.
Fred Taylor, Kevin Faulk, and Stephen Gostkowski were injured during the season.

This is a fair point. I don't begrudge the way the experts remind us about the Colts injuries, but as a few people pointed out some teams (GB and NYG) have similar injury problems during the season and it's barely mentioned. And this isn't a case about hating the Colts either, because I don't.
