Joey Galloway cut by Redskins
No, this is not one of those 'let's sign this guy' threads.
NFL.com news: Redskins cut veteran WR Galloway, promote rookie Austin

The Washington Redskins waived Joey Galloway and signed rookie Terrence Austin off the practice squad in a switch of wide receivers, the team announced Saturday.
Galloway, in his first season with the Redskins, had 12 receptions for 173 yards in 10 games, but he failed to emerge as a factor on offense. He was a starter when the season began, slid to the No. 3 wideout after a few games, then was benched recently after a poorly run route led to an interception.

Actually when I saw him on TV with the Redskins earlier this season I was surprised. I really didn't think he had enough left to warrant a roster spot on any NFL team this season. But as much as Pats fan may not care for Galloway, he did have a pretty good NFL career.
