According to a source, part of the recruiting process includes a trip to the Jets' new stadium in the Meadowlands, where highlights of Taylor's career will be shown on the scoreboard.

Interesting.....

But I think the chances are extremely slim of Jason Taylor joining the ONE team he truly hates as well as their fans is the Jets.

I think Belichick hiring back Mangini as Defensive Corodinator has a better shot than Taylor joining the Jets UNLESS thats the only team who shows any interest,I think the Pats will not pursue him again despite the need,it was a slap in Belichick's face when he went back to Miami last season.

If Rex Ryan put on the charm and the Jets decide to pay him 5M then anything is possible, but I can't see it happening.

As much as I would like to have Taylor here, I gave up on him being a Patriot after he choose Miami last season.

This offseason, it's almost like Belichick is saying, "I'm never going to let that happen again."

I think Taylor COULD help sell PSL's. What Reiss takes away from the article is that the Pats ARE pursuing Taylor again. I think that would be ok, as long as no-one ever assumes he solves our problems. We need another Vrabel pretty badly.

I'd love to see Taylor in a Patriot uniform next year. Although he isnt what he used to be, he can still put up decent numbers in an area the Pats need work in, the pass rush. More importantly he would be able to provide leadership in the locker room and for a defense that needs that veteran guy to take charge

He may be a locker room guy because he has that knack, but as far as productivity goes on the field,I really don't see a big step up from Burgess signing last season,I actually seeing him have a similar impact with about 5 sacks.

I rather see him stay in Miami than go to the jets... But come on, Jason play up in New England , his leadership would be vital .....As well as a pass rush...

i don't think we need him if we can get sergio kindle or brandon graham. Then I would much rather us focus on getting someone who can help Wilfork up front in stopping the run.

Graham would be a big mistake IMO...Kindle is a MUCH better choice

Kindle?? NO WAY.. Kindle is a 4-3 DE. Not a 3-4 OLB.. Not to mention that he is over-rated because of the defensive talent that was around him.
