Good for them. Let's see how they do divisional round after 4 weeks of no real playing time.

Colts don't have a backup QB at the moment so I fully expect Manning to play every snap.

Are you kidding? They have been in this position a couple of times before and they tanked the last 2 or 3 games.

Their starters should be nice and rusty come mid January when the Patriots roll into the Drum.

The Colts' philosophy is to rest players so they can lose momentum and have an early exit from the playoffs.

Not playing real football for 4 weeks will stop whatever momental they have now.

How likely are we to get flexed to the Sunday night game on the 27th? If the Pats and Jags are fighting for a playoff spot, that's better than watching the Skins and Cowboys tank, right?

if the pats don't win their remaining games, they should not waste their time in the playoffs with any goals other than to make some revenue for the boss by getting a home game.

the pats are on another planet right now and there are going have to be broader changed than earlier anticipated. people looked at this year as a 'transition' year ...... next year will be at least that, also. the defense needs to replace most of its LB's, and its going to take time to get the unit playing well together

When were the Colts in position to go undefeated before?? 2005 they lost to the Chargers at full strength, THEN started resting people if I remember correctly.

They should go hard for undefeated until they lose, or until NO loses.

If Pats don't make it, just imagine a SB between two undefeated teams.

the colts goal was never to win 22 in a row to beat the pats record there goal was to get home field through out the playoffs and they did that

i don't agree with resting players 3 games befor the playoffs that did not work for the 1996 denver team

that's why 16-0 15-1 and 14-2 get beat by 9-7 and 10-6 teams in the playoffs cause they think they can just show up healthy and win cause they are just better then every one

will the NFL dose not work like that the team that gets hot going in to the playoffs is the team that will make the best push for a SB

Smart by the Colts. Let's face it, the Patriots playing to their potential scares opponents, we've simply been a disjointed unit this entire season. Give teams in the mix the chance if the Patriots slip up as well as minimizing risk to their own in dead rubber matches of a regular season which means very little.

I can't criticize the Colts at all if they do indeed carry this mantra.
