Default Steelers choke

Did anyone see the end to the bengals steelers game? Palmer led the bengals to a game winning TD drive with 13 seconds left. That's 2 straight games where the steelers vaunted D has not looked great. But it's still early.

It was almost worse this past weekend with the Chargers. I'm a little worried about our team getting unfocussed late in games. That's the first time we lost a game with an 11 point lead in 5 years. Pretty sure the last time we lost it was to the Bengals as well.

To have a 28-0 lead over the Chargers and have to kick a 43 yard fieldgoal with 40 some odd seconds left to go up 38-28 was very very dis-satisfying to say the least.

We better bury the freaking Lions and keep pouring it on until they tap out or I'm going to drive to Pittsburgh and punch the entire defense in the face, starting with the tough guy Harrison. hit somebody Punk!!!

Well a better game this past weekend, but not good enough yet. Hopefully we can continue to improve in all aspects of the game this week vs the Browns.

Good thing our defense was able to get some turnovers and keep the Browns out of the game for the most part. We gave up 4 and its rare in the NFL to win with giving the ball over that often. Good thing the Browns are really bad.

Steelers vs Vikings is going to be a very tough game for us.

Yep, the Steelers are gonna have their hands full this week with Minnesota for sure. It helps that Winfield will likely be out, but the Steeler D is gonna have to step up this week, no doubt. Of course, Minnesota's Def also had a very Steeler-esque 4th quarter meltdown against the Ravens last week, and came damn close to losing that one. Pretty stoked about this week's matchup. I have a feeling this is going to be a very telling game as to where exactly these two teams stand in the big picture.

Steelers get a huge win to move to 5-2 and into the bye week. Was nice to see the Defense step up and make huge plays during a game the offense struggled. Another Fumble in the Redzone by Mendenhall, not good. Another big Kick Return too, that has to be fixed during the bye week for certain.

2 weeks from now, the Broncos. Another great test. Most likely without Ryan Clark who could actually die from the high altitude. Think he'll be back in the Burgh during that game. We'll see if we can survive in the deep secondary without him for one game.

Well it'll be tough with the Bengals playing as well as they are. But I called it would be them and Us, and not the Ravens. I had a feeling the Ravens would drop off a little. The Bengals were due to be better, but I didn't think they'd be as good as they are currently playing.

They have us on the Tie Breakers right now, especially with one game over us, and now with the Head to Head over the Bears who beat us earlier in the year. That's going to be tough. We have to win the AFC North by one game to win the Division. A Tie breaker won't do.
