Just herd this on PTI. Over Brady, Manning and Brees and anyone else. He wants Ben to lead his team. I almost fell over in my chair.

Football-wise, Wilbon is an idiot; he works hard to earn and keep that designation.

Media-wise, tho, he's no dummy. What better thing to say to garner attention and get people talking about him on the day of the Season Opener in Pittsburgh than to put Big Ben numero uno over two QB's who are definitely going to Canton?

We can only hope Brady will put up an 18 TD, 15 INT season.

Here is Wilbon's recent article which points out his ball washing for Ben ...

Yes because CLEARLY the Steelers were the best team in football last year, I mean who else could survive a playoff run against teams with 8-8 (without LT), 11-5 (with a rookie QB), and 9-7 (statistically the WORST defense to reach the superbowl) records

The Steelers deserve some ballwashing since they are the champs, but this is completely absurd.

I'm so effin sick of hearing about that team already. Since I live in PA, half of my facebook newsfeed is people who won't shutup about the Steelers and the SB just because they play tonight.
