Default Welp... looks like the Brett Favre saga isn't over quite yet...

http://www.fannation.com/si_blogs/nf...l-already-done

This whole saga used to be just sad. Now it's beginning to get pathetic. I wasn't going to take this seriously at first since it was just ESPN reporting it but then Si reported it as well. Now, on ESPN (television), Adam Schefter is currently saying that there is a huge chance the rumors are true.

Absolutely pathetic.

According to the "unnamed player", Favre didn't want to go through training camp. If that is the case then WHY DID YOU NOT JUST SAY THAT TO BEGIN WITH FAVRE?! Jesus Christ...

I hope when he is finally eligible for the HOF that at least one voter doesn't vote for him on the first ballot and say "I would have voted for him, but I wasn't sure if he was going to unretire or not."

Seriously, the guy should just retire and maintain whatever shreads of dignity he has left.

Favre is just a highly entertaining side-show at this point--he is SO done as a football player. I hope he comes back because all he can do is damage his reputation even more.

Anyone know how Sage and Tavaris looked in the first PS game?

Wow, shocking...

He's turned into a drama queen. He loves the attention he gets from all of this, which is why he says no, then yes, then maybe, then yes every year. I can't stand it. i wish ESPN wouldn't even cover this garbage. I bet Peter King wet himself he go so excited.

Sage looked very good. He made timely and accurate throws going 10 for 13. The only concern I have from what I saw is how he'll handle going against teams such as the Steelers who will pressure him. Sage isn't much of a runner so his lack of speed could come back to haunt him.

Tavaris.... well he looked exactly like the Tavaris we are used to. In other words inconsistent. While he did play with the B squad I saw what we are used to with Tavaris really magnified. Over/under throwing the ball, keeping the ball far too long before doing anything with it, etc.

Right now my pick is Sage. We'll see how Tavaris does with the A squad this Friday.

Sage played very well, Tavaris played poorly.

Everytime I hear about him I always get this song in my head...seems fitting for him and his flip flopping and ego stroking and media whoring...

If this whole thing is true and not just a publicity stunt by Glazer, then I have no idea how you can blame the media for this one. They showed a montage of Favre with the tears in his eyes after he retired from the Jets, to saying he has interest to playing with the Vikings, to saying he doesn't want to play with the Vikings and EMPHATICALLY saying "no, I am done". The media's job is to cover this stuff. They would not have anything to cover if Favre just lived by his word and RETIRED.
