According to the NFL UK guy nothings been agreed due to various reasons I could probrably guess at. He's confident regular season games will still be shown here like before but until it's done we have nothing yet.
Very much like the Pats, Britain had an amazing '07 season. We had everything from Total Access coverage, America's game episodes and pre season, reg and post season coverage. Now we struggle to see barely two or three total access episodes a week, are currently without pre season coverage and nothing agreed for regular season coverage. Total access episodes use advertising that is against UK advertising laws so epsisodes are only shown that that don't conflict with those, for example TA used heavy GMC advertising and logo placing, some of which is against UK advertising law so they're not shown. Channel 5 here has stopped all US Sports coverage because of production costs so thats another channel now not showing football.
Kind of strange how the NFL is being pushed here currently but at the same time we're losing coverage.

I gotta say, Buffalo's offense did look pretty efficient against the Titans' starting defense. I know it's just the first preseason game and there is a lot of kinks to be worked out, but I don't think that interception happens if the starting center isn't bulled back into Edwards. Their first string defense did not look all that hot though.
Their Skill players looked solid... But their offensive line is swiss cheese. It's absolutely AWFUL.

All the more reason you need to move over to the U.S.

Yeah. I actually started laughing when Levitre got pushed back into Edwards. If Haynesworth's replacement (not too sure what his name is) can do that to him, Big Vince is going to eat him for breakfast come Week 1.

I've no doubt at all that regular season + post season will get as much coverage on SKY as last year.
I imagine you already know this, but NFL Network is live on Game Pass HD, and they also library Total Access, Playbook, etc to watch whenever you want.

Funny enough coaching soccer across the pond has been disscussed in recent times..

I think we will see games, but how many I'm not sure. ESPN has just launched a new UK channel thats now in almost direct competition with Sky Sports so I doubt games broadcast from ESPN in the US would be welcomed on Sky Sports channels, maybe ruling out MNF on Sky if it goes all political. On the plus side I now get to see college football with ESPN...
Yeah I thought about Game Pass recently to feed my fix. Will more than likely look into for this season. Thank's

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me but that fake punt that the media is gushing over looke suspiciously like it was a real punt that they got lucky didn't get blocked combined with a badly out of place return team and a heads up move by the punter.
Didn't look like it was a real fake punt to me...

Re: Hall of Fame Game- Bills vs Titans
I kind of enjoyed the game, I think mostly because i miss NFL football. You can't take anything out of the first pre-season game though.
I love the old classic unis. Buffalo should keep these or go back to the 90's ones the new ones are hideous.

Alastair Kirkwood believes that a deal will be finalized within 2-3 weeks, Fingers crossed he's right. There's definitely no preseason but I can survive with watching the games on the PS3 internet for a month. I will be gutted if there is no regular season coverage but if all goes well, this situation should be resolved in time for September.
