Default Could T.O.'s strong dissaproval of Vicks suspension indicate the Bills want him?

T.O. was very vocal to the media yesterday about Vick getting suspended for 4 games and bashed Goodell over the decision which makes me think there very well could be Vick in the game plan for Buffalo.

http://www.calgarysun.com/sports/foo...72796-sun.html

Why else would a selfish player like T.O. want Vick so badly to return unless Buffalo is secretly going after Vick?

I think Buffalo would be the perfect spot for Mike - A team that is borderline Mediocre,A team that has a QB who has not produced much yet and no depth behind him,Has a very small media market who would not be going after blood like they would if it were in Los Angeles,Boston or New York City teams,An owner that will do whatever it takes to win as evidenced in his possible moving to Canada in the future and fans that really don't care about anything but winning and on top of that being in a division that includes the Patriots who they only have a little shot to beat.

Lets see if Wilson decides to pursue him,T.O.'s rant on something that does not include him seems strange although he is known for being a bigmouth.

I was thinking the same thing when I read about this last night. I thought their signing of TO was kind of odd for them, almost like they were desperate for some kind of big name to spark things. So going with that line of thinking, maybe they would go after Vick, but we'll obviously have to wait and see. I do think it'll be a desperate team that eventually signs him.

The only reason Owens would use the media to publicly lobby his team to do something is because they're already doing it?

This seems backwards to me. You apply pressure on somebody to do what they're not doing. At the very least, you can argue that Owens' statement might point in either direction -- which means it points nowhere.

Just what Owens wants - a QB who can't throw. It's just Owens talking like always.

Vick would make them better.

That said...

I highly doubt that anyone in the F.O is sharing this kind of information with T.O.

I don't know. Quiet Strength says TO is right and if he had a team that needed a QB he would sign Vick. Of course he also claims there aren't really any teams that aren't all set at the position ...

He also recommended that Mike Tomlin have a sit down with his QB and ask him to tell him whether he really did what he's accused of doing or not. If not, Tomlin should support him, while if he did they need to have a plan to deal with that... I guess that would be kinda like what Atlanta tried to do with...Vick.

Somewhere I sense a double standard here...

Although if Pittsburgh were to hire Vick I guess we could speculate on why...

Who knows how Vick on the Bills would play out...they would have a pretty talented, yet equally dysfunctional offense to be reckoned with...don't think it would work out so well though...

You know, it's just possible that Owens realizes Vick was in jail, missed games and lost millions of dollars, and believes that Vick has been punished enough.

I's a radical notion to some, I'm sure.

We have a QB, his name is Trent Edwards. The absolute dumbest thing Ralph Wilson could do, is sign Vick. The team has rallied around Edwards and the Bills are committed to him. Besides, he's also sitting on a four game suspension which makes signing him even more of a head scratcher. He's better off with the Tuna where he can run the Wildcat offense.
