Default Oh Rexy my boyee...

Don't know if you wanna be making these kind of statements so early in your career .. I get it.. exude confidence, but cmon now ..

Question: "As kind of the new kid on the block in AFC East, can you just talk about what you’re up against?"

Ryan: "I’d rather focus on what they’re up against."

Really, you can stop right there.

After a brief pause, Ryan continued his answer.

"We’re going to have a team that’s going to be a physical football team, we’re not going to back down against any challenge," Ryan said. "I understand and respect the conference. Anytime you go against up Bill Belichick or Bill Parcells’ team in Miami or Buffalo…we know it’s very competitive. But right now I’m focused on what our team is doing and putting in the style of play we want, regardless of who we’re playing."

What did I miss? He didnt guarantee anything he just said he is focused on making his team a physical formiddable team. I would rather my team operated less focused on the moves of others and more so on themselves. Are you mad he didnt kiss the Pats or Phins arse?

They're going to be the team with the most personal fouls. Many of which will cost them the game.

This is the first time that no one one a team will trash talk, their coach will do it for them. I give this guy ONE season.

If you don't pay attention to other teams they will run right over you. He should be kissing the AFC East arse it will make a victory that much sweeter.

I like his attitude. If they win, he'll look like a remarkable coach, and that's good for our division (it used to contain the likes of Mangini and Jauron... what, Dick's still here? oh...) and if he loses, he'll look like a jackass, which is good for the hearts of Patsfans. Win/win. But honestly, I'm mostly worried about the Fish for this coming season.

The Jets Stream - NY Daily News

Quote:
Q: How long will it take for the Jets' defense to be as good as the Ravens' defense?

A: I think next year. If we bring in the kind of players we're talking about, we only need to add one or two guys. The foundation is already there. Maybe the mentality we're going to play with, the style we're going to play with, it's going to help the guys we already have. The proof will be in the pudding. You know me, I'm not one to shy away from expectations. I think we'll be terrific. I think we'll have a defense our fans can be proud of.

You gotta have some "cache" grasshopper to be talking like he's talking around town .. Trust me, I live in NY, and this is just setting the stage for a lynching if he doesn't win. Exposure time ..
