Default Are you enjoying watching the JEST squirm?

Stuff like this is music to my ears:

Quote:
Two days after Eric Mangini was fired as Jets coach and a day after Bill Cowher opted out of a meeting about the position, Brett Favre and his future hung like an albatross around the neck of the franchise.

Running back Thomas Jones said the 39-year-old quarterback's interceptions angered many in the locker room, and local Jets fans are vocal about wanting Favre out.

"It was hard to watch the last five games of the season," said Jim Oakman, who works at Belizzi Pizza in Mount Kisco. "He was horrible."

A post on a blog devoted to the team related that $80 No. 4 jerseys were being tossed from the upper deck in frustration during the Jets' final loss, to Miami on Sunday. The team ended 9-7 after starting 8-3.
Even though anybody with a functioning brain could see this coming a mile away, Schadenfavre is so much fun.

At 8-3 it looked great and then the **** hit the fan. Terrible ending for us Jets fans, but for some reason 2000 still hits me harder (9-4 with needing one win to win the division and of course we lose all three).

Ummmmm, I voted "F*** yeah" as an automatic reflex reaction .

As a caveat, I feel I must add the following statement:

Having been a JETS fan for 3 hours the other day, and the miserable feelings that I will forever take away from the experience, I'd be lying saying anything other then that a very little sliver in my black coal heart will now always feel a tinge of pity on those that are cursed to have to sit though that on a regular basis"
