Default If the Fins and Ravens win Sunday, who do you root for in the playoffs?

For me,

1. Panthers - Jake Delhomme is one of my favorite non-Pats. Love the story about how he stayed watched the Pats celebrate SB38 so that in the long hot days of TC, he'd remember what it felt like.

2. Chargers (assuming they beat Denver) - Yes Ladanian is a whiny hypocrite. Yes Merriman is an annoying asshat (though he wouldn't be part of it anyways). But has an 8-8 team ever sniffed the Super Bowl? That would be an amazing story IMO.

3. Titans - Love their smashmouth style. And having the best record they would seemingly deserve it the most. Fisher is one of the best coaches over the past decade. I'd have no complaints about seeing them hoist the lombardi.

4. Cards/NFC North winner/NFC WC if it's not the Cowboys - No complaints any of these unlikely teams win. I guess if the Bucs win it kinda sucks that they'd have their 2nd ring and only 1 below us for the millenium, but it's still better than many of the alternatives. Falcons that I would love.

5. Ravens - If not for having to root against them for the Pats sake, I'd love watching this team play. Very well coached team that doesn't make mistakes and punches teams in the mouth. Solid in all phases. Reminds me alot of our 2001 team with a better defense. Only drawback here is same as for the Buccaneers. But I'd rather see them get it over Pittsburgh, Indy, NYG, Dallas who I believe are the only teams I haven't listed.

Any team that has not been to the superbowl this decade and any team playing the Colts, Steelers, Ravens, Giants, Panthers, and Bucs.

A sarcastic Bill Belichick on Tom Brady's finger injury, "It's not life threatening."

Anyone who's playing the Colts/Giants.

No one. If the Patriots are eliminated, then the season is over for me.

It would be hard seeing the Miami Dolphins win it all. But yeah I'd probably pull for them over the Steelers/Colts/Giants/Ravens/Bucs.

The order of teams I absolutely don't want to win

1. Steelers
2. Colts
3. Cowboys
4. Giants
4. Ravens/Bucs

I respect the Steelers approach to the game...I think they are team that best emulates the Patriots.

Otherwise, I'd cheer for anyone to beat the Ravens, Chargers, and most especially the Colts.

I would agree with your choice of the Steelers in regards to the franchise and their approach to the game - but with the exception of Dino5Rings, their fans' single-minded obsession with slamming the Pats disqualifies them. How about an underdog that has never won it before, like Minnesota?

I am cheering for the Falcons, myself. Love the rookie QB angle (except for Flacco, of course), glad Michael Turner is outshining LdT, and big on Michael Boley.

Fins.

Can you think of a more magical story than a team that went 1-15 the prior year winning the SB with a QB they picked up out of the trash?

It would be like a the Bad News Bears or the Mighty Ducks only real.
