This will be a rough game for them, and that's a good thing.

However, my prime focus this week (after the Patriots of course), will be {gulp} cheering the Cowgi...... errrrr, I mean Cowboys, on to victory. Go Romo, Go Owens, Go PacMan

ughhhhh, I just threw up in my mouth a bit. Excuse me while I go take a shower.

2004: 0-2 at Denver and Baltimore
2003: 1-1 win at Buffalo, loss at New England
2002: 0-2 at Buffalo and New England (lost at Minnesota too but even though it's a cold area, they play indoors)
2001: 0-1 at New England

A robust 2-9 with two more cold games on the horizon.

Great analysis! 2 and 10 sounds very sweet. However Pennington has cold weather experience and their defense is on fire.

If you are in a warm weather climate and then try to play a game in cold weather it doesn't really help you.
I think the only time that might help is Chad knows how the ball will handle and how to pass.
It is very hard to adjust in 2 days to a frigid climate when you are out and about in a shortsleeve shirt during the week.
The inverse of this is true also, look when teams go down to Miami in Sept, they always have a tough time with the humidity even though they might have dealt with some humidity in the summer.

good point.....
the fact that these guys got to go into a DOME in Canada...in what SHOULD HAVE BEEN Buffalo's home conditions and ADVANTAGE.....is ludicrous.......Does anyone think the league would have ok'ed the Pats playing against Miami in Mexico in an indoor air conditioned DOME in September?.......unreal.......I hope all the doofins nutsacks turn to ice!

The fact that Joey Porter, Chad Pennington, Vonnie Holliday, and the current team might play a game colder than Dan Marino played in doesn't necessarily make all those old stats relevant.

For coldest in our history, how many were at that Tennessee playoff game? Man, that was frosty. My beer froze in my cup.

This is good news. I had given up on us winning the division as I could not see Miami losing to KC. I figured the Jets had a better chance of going 0-2 than Miami going 1-1.

The Dolphins have the type of running game, short range accurate passing game, and defense to win in the cold weather (ala Jacksonville of last year). History may say one thing but the Chiefs are terrible. Don't get your hopes up too much.
