Default First to Worst Quarterbacks in the AFC East - Rank them 1 to 4

Put away your red, blue and silver glasses and rank the QBs of the AFC East from 1 being best to 4 being worst

Its all changed for me in the past month - A month ago I would have put Trent Edwards at the top of the list because of the great start the Bills had but now he goes on my list from first to worst because of failure to play well enough to beat ANY AFC East team regardless of their injuries,he has not played well.

I think Chad Pennington is a very big reason the Dolphins have turned things around from a 1-15 team last season to a remarkable winning record thus far - Pennington is a gutsy and very smart, accurate QB as he was in NY and now doing it in Miami - Pennington is the best AFC East QB right now IMO

My first to worst AFC East QBs at week 10 are...

1) Chad Pennington
2) Brett Favre
3) Matt Cassel (getting closer to #2 though)
4) Trent Edwards

1.) Pennington - Right now playing the best most consistent with subpar receivers. Doesn't make a lot of mistakes, but can carry the offense when needed.
2.) Favre - I can't remember who said it best, but the quote was Favre is good at keeping both the Jets and their opponents in games. He makes far too many critical mistakes to ranked #1. In fact, if Cassel can get a little better at getting the Pats to score TDs, I think Cassel will pass him. I think INTs outweigh a lot of positives.
3.) Cassel - Quickly gaining ground on the other two guys up there. Needs to improve the offensive scoring, but he is close to overtaking Favre if he does.
4.) Edwards - Wow! Talk about a stone sinking to the bottom of the ocean. I would have ranked this guy #1 a month ago. It just seems that teams have figured him out and are now rattling him.

Your responses seem like a carbon copy of mine

RE: Edwards, I think we can give him an excuse of sucking lately because of the fact that the OL and Lynch have done nothing to keep the heat off of Edwards back and opposing defenses are salivating every week at ruining Trent's day

Not only is QB rating a worthless stat, it also includes all of the other stats you posted. It shouldn't be used with them. If you are going to use it (I would suggest you don't) it should be used instead of the other stats you posted.
