So why was the game delayed? For tv reasons? They could've continued the game with the lighting they had. Every team has played in some type of foul weather that reduces visibility, ie; fog, rain snow etc. Why not continue the game as scheduled?

Nantz and Simms didnt have electric power to announce the game.

The scoreboard was out too.

I thought about both of those issues beforehand.

I wasn't paying close attention but I swear that's all CBS did was talk through the blackout, and why is the score board important to the players on the field?

Is that a serious question or are you new to the sport? You DO realize there is a clock? And that the sidelines need commuications?
