2013 Pro Football Hall of Fame: who is in, who is out?

Should Bill Parcells be voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame? Perhaps someday, but definitely not this year when he is up against this list of nominees....

Capping it at 5 entrants every year is stupid and arbitrary, especially when coaches and contributors count as part of the 5.
If you trust a group of people to vote on HOF membership, then trust them to draw the line at what they determine is the appropriate place, whether it's below the 5th guy, below the 8th guy, or below the 3rd guy.

Starkist finally quit saying "Sorry, Charlie" to the Big Tuna. While I was quite upset with his effort and concentration in his final game with the Pats, I'm pleased that he is entering the hall. He is responsible for initializing the Patriot Dynasty. Congratulations, Coach Parcells!
Re: 2013 Pro Football Hall of Fame: who is in, who is out?
I heard some lame-o 20's something punk on ESPN say "who the hell is Curly Culp?" and then make one of those "I know it all and I disapprove" noises...well, Curly Culp is the progenitor of the nose tackle position.I had the pleasure to see him and other famous defensive players for that Chiefs team play in their prime. If not for Culp, Willie Lanier, Buck Buchanan, Bobby Bell and Jim Lynch would not have nearly been as effective a 3/4 D unit as they were.
I wouldn't mind if Curly, on the way to the podium, grabbed one of the ESPN snickerboys by the crotch until he screamed for his mommy in falsetto tones...

Agreed, sir! Sapp is a poor excuse for a human being, but he was one hell of a player. Carter is borderline IMHO, and while I can take or leave him as a person, at least it's not a travesty that he got in.
