hahahha, I was bored this morning so I worked out some numbers.

Average buyin, to a 12 team league is $50

first place usually takes home a min of $400

so to join 100 $50 leauges and come first place in each would result in winings of $40,000. - the $5000 of your money. so $35,000 in earnings for a season that runs from September to December. hahahahahahah oh this is great.

Few thoughts: 100 leagues is insane, and virtually impossible to properly manage them, so you would be forced to join some higher stakes leagues, even cut the number in half to 50 leauges with $100 buy ins is much better. Realisticly (not that any of this is) I think I could work myself up to 25 leagues tops hahahaha

The rest of my time would be spend studying the collage/the draft/minicamps/traingcamps/rosters/projections/trades/stats and everyday going ons as the season starts. you would actually have to tape and study each game to determin what each team is doing with each player

hahahah I know all of this is sick/wrong/ and stupid but a guy can dream cant he?.

Dream indeed! If you could win 100 of 100 leagues, hell, I'd back you with $$$ for a cut of the winnings. There's a ton of skill in FF, but also plenty of luck. The luck factor is magnified if you play with a lot of skilled players because you'll all have good rosters, so then it comes down to unexpected injuries derailing your season (Sorry, Steve Smith - signed Jake Delhomme) or performances that go against every scouting report's prediction.

You probably could make some nice money playing in a bunch of leagues, but you would have to find leagues full of guppies, then bail out of them once they wise up. Then you would have to find more leagues with noobs. That's a monstrous effort in its own right.

yea chris everything you said is true. My plan is to play in 10 leagues next year, as many of those for money as possible, probably find 4 or 5. and see how it goes from there. Ill let you folks know how it goes

and your totally right about the luck part. see marvin harrison this year

Drafting well is key to winning a league but the other factor is waiver wire pickups. The guys that you pick up to fill in for bye weeks may turn out to be tremendously good players that become the mainstays of your team over the remainder of the season. I've found that happening every year that I have managed to win a fantasy league I will have made at least 2 or 3 excellent steals from the waiver wire/free agent list.

A lot of the time, the person that can jump first can steal some very good talent. Staying vigilant for these free agent/waiver wire pickups takes alertness and following all the games as well as injury reports. I would find it nearly impossible to keep on top of that for all my leagues if I played as many as you proposed. But picking up on these guys to fill in the cracks is essential to maintaining your edge throughout the fantasy season.

My MVP waiver wire pickups this season include - Derek Anderson, Earnest Graham, and Lee Evans who is really starting to heat up in Buffalo now.

agreed. in order

1.Draft
2.Injuries/position battles
3.Knowing your league inside and out, especially who you are playing that week and the one after that.
4.Waiver Wire
5.Bye Weeks (can kill a man)
6.Trades (I dont even find trades to be that important/frequent

I really think I can do something here, Im really excited for next year to put everything together. If you guys are regulars in this fourm we could really help out eachother in the fantasy world.

Sounds like you might be into gambling. I make more money betting than I do at my job. There is a really good legit sportsbook site you might like. It's called Betus.com. It's good if you follow a lot of sports so you're not just stuck betting on football. You can literally bet on anything. I do play proline some times, but that website is a bit much for me. I find that stuff so hard to win on. bu thanks anyway

#1 key to winning in FFB = understanding TRUE value. You have to know how to buy low and sell high. Drafting is important, but if you dont understand the basics of evaluating a players true value (based on your league scoring settings), you will get owned in big $$ leagues.

I dont like to brag... but have won lots of $$ playing FFB over the years.
