I dont agree with an earlier poster that called you a bandwagon fan ... a bandwagon fan could be a person that really was never a fan of anything but suddenly becomes a fan because of the Team's success.

You my friend ... we have a word for fans like you ... we call em traitors.

Im a Jets fan .. been one since 1984 ... ill can respect the Pats/Tom Brady ... even BB ... but ill never be a Pats fan.

I've noticed the flood of new members in the last couple of months, its funny how one shiney new member can question another on band wagonism.

When you join a forum doesn't mean much but that guys timing is pretty bad.

Yeah i can understand more people joining up the team is doing great. But when your first post is calling someone out for their timing on joining its more than a little hypocritical. In the last year there have been a lot of new faces such as yourself, but you (for example) couldn't have seen this season turning out the way it has back in sep.

Engine 1 (as in Fireman Ed) is quite obviously a Jets fan that decided to come here and troll with the Pats playing the Jets this week. He's resurrecting one old thread after another attempting to defend the Jets / bait Pats fans into tired old stereotypical smack talk.

Are you sure you didn't come over so you could put the letter E in the middle of easy-to-spell words that don't contain a letter E?

By the way...how do you just quit being a fan of one team and switch to another team? I mean how can you even do that? Use the Ottawa Senators for example. Ottawa is about 4 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Montreal. People in that area cheered for Montreal and Toronto and the real, worthwhile fans still do. But then you had these people who decided that because they lvie closer to Ottawa, they would cut ties with Toronto and Montreal and become Sens fans. How can someone do that? How can you feel that it is OK? A lot of the fans who held out through the Leafs and Canadians struggles finally made the switch to the Sens after they made consistent deep playoff runs in the mid-2000s.

Switching teams is dispicable. You're a front-runner, and if the Pats struggle, you'll find an excuse to cheer for a different team. Brutal....absolutely brutal. I imagine there are many true Pats fans out there who don't want you.

I can't believe that I'm agreeing with the Jets fans in this thread.

Sorry, buddy. I'm sure you're a great guy. You certainly sound like it. But, IMO, I don't think there's any excuse for switching teams that you grew up a fan of. Especially to a team that's within the division.
