Default OT: Is Matt Ryan the best NCAA QB?

IMO, I think that Matt Ryan is perhaps the best QB playing in college football. Will he be a top 10 pick in the draft?? He sure looks like he has the skills/mentality to play on Sundays with success for a long time.

I think he's pretty good and will get better as the season goes on. He's better than some other junk to get drafted into the NFL..........(see David Carr).

Ryan's problem is that the talent around him is good but not great. That will hurt him.

I agree, he is up there. In 4-5 years he will be a top signall caller in the NFL.

Come draft time, scouts will see past his lack of a top 10 supporting cast.

Also, BC has a miserable schedule to end the year. If Ryan can pull out W's in a couple of those games, his stock will soar.

M Framcessa on the Fan in NYC described him as a first round pick and the4 best QB prospect in the draft. pick,

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

BC is a better football team than a number of teams ranked in the polls.

You say Ryan's problem is the talent around him when that is exactly what David Carr's problem has been for both his college and pro career.

Ryan is the best college quarterback in terms of NFL talent, but for winning on Saturday's I'd take the option QB from the west side of VA.

It doesn't hurt having Slaton in that backfield either. Maybe he'll slip to the Patriots 49ers pick this year, Maroney and Slaton would be quite the combo.

I've been at BC for Ryan's entire career (well, this year I'm abroad, but I digress)... he was real weak his first year, but he's really impressed me as he's come along.

He's not the best. Best in the ACC? I think so. He didn't look too great today but then again Challenger & Robinson...I wanted to murder both of them. They must have had 3 drops each.

Colt Brennan may be the best NCAA QB right now... too bad half of his games start after midnight in the east...
