Default Brian Brohm a Patriot?

Given the fact that Tom Brady took a physical beating in the Super Bowl, I don't think it would be a great surprise to draft a QB, for insurance purposes.

But if you're the Pats, and Brohm is still on the board at the end of round 2 or perhaps at the top of round 3, do you take him?

That's just not realistic, imo. He's an early-mid 2nd, imo. And there are other positions on the roster that need to be addressed. Eric Ainge might be a guy for us to look at in the mid-later rounds if we're thinking about bringing in another backup Q.

Brian Brohm will most likely be a Raven so I just don't see this happening.

So, are you sayiing ignore great value for the sake of addressing needs?

That doesn't answer the question. It just dismisses it.

No. We have a QB who's been on the roster 3-4 years. We have another QB who's going into his second year. They weren't kept because they were incompetent. If we need a backup QB we shold sign a veteran cheap and not face having to put a rookie in.

Sorry, didn't know it was a required field to answer the question. Simply put: no. We have two quality back-ups in Cassell and Guiterriez (sp?).

Just trying to be realistic. We're picking near the very end of the 2nd round. And Im saying there is absolutely no way Brohm lasts to pick 62, and moving up to acquire him earlier than that would not represent "value" considering our current QB is the league's best player. jmho.

In fact, some team may quite possibly move up into the late 1st to grab him. Atlanta, KC, the Jets, Baltimore are all teams that would logically be looking at him.

Ok, but if Dorsey fell to the bottom of the third round, would you draft him?

I heard that if Chad Henne is still on the board at the start of round 2 the Dolphins QUICKLY scoop him up and reunite him with his blocker Jake Long. - I would bet on it.

The only QB I see NE looking at is Brennan in the late rounds,Woodson would be a longshot but he may last till round 4
