I'd love it if we got Talib in the 2nd.

I don't see how he could drop to the 3rd but some corner last year who had high stock and then went downhill before the draft, fell to the 3rd... (so i guess it is possible)

anybody know his name?

I don't like the idea of drafting someone at #7 overall who previously was considered a 2nd round prospect.

I do like the idea of Talib falling to #62 though.

I would much rather pick up a first round prospect who fell to the 2nd than vice versa.

yeah you're right. i think the browns got him in the 3rd but I think he had a much worse reputation than Talib.

Wright had been accused of far worse, but the deal with Talib is apparently a consistent history of misbehavior which keeps getting him into trouble but he never learns from. That's exactly the kind of guy who'll keep coaches up nights.

Anybody who gets into too much trouble playing football (Pacman Jones, Chris Henry, etc.) is either Too Stupid to play the game or don't really care that much about football. There is no other explanation imo

The Pats will tell him, "thanks for coming out but were not going to draft you with the 7th overall selection. Have a nice day".
