I don't think Pryor is worth more than a 6th or 7th round tender. I would go higher on Mike Adams. Posey isn't worth too much to me.

Ironically enough, they could have at least mitigated both those gaffes: apparently, Al Davis wanted O'Connell. In retrospect, if I had known he had that high a likelihood of getting cut, I would have included him in the deal for Burgess. [The sticking point is that Al Davis, in one of his rare moments of lucidity, wanted to trade Burgess for O'Connell + Seabaß. ]

Drew Rosenhaus had me at 4.45 40... but then I woke up and realized its Pryor.

LOL. Well said. I don't see him going above the 4th or 5th round, and even then he'll never be an NFL QB.

As we've seen plenty of times, that blazing speed doesn't mean a whole lot in the bigger picture when you have so many character flaws and are flat out stupid.

As a Buckeye fan, I will forever hate him for destroying so much. It's funny b/c Tressel was seriously trying to get through to him, and had him writing essays on 'making the right decisions as a man,' making appearances for Columbus youth services, and other things to punish him 'in-house.' It appears as though Tressel felt that these were closer to typical college kid stupidity issues, than they were NCAA violations, and that's where he messed up. I will always believe that Tressel is a stand up guy, and a damn good football coach. There have been a lot of kids who claim that he helped them grow up and make better choices as men, but at the same time it appears as though he was too soft (obviously), and just didn't handle these situations in the correct manner.

The whole damn thing is a shame, and Pryor is the one who likely caused the most damage. He certainly brought everything to the current light that it's in.
