Never draft a College Guard, draft Tackles and convert them to Guards

A pick next year is always more valuable than a pick this year.

2nd round players will likely have a 'chip on their shoulder' - and thereby out work any first round collegiate star. IF you are a NEP first rounder - you will be as humble as pie.

All Offensive Tackles drafted must have started their college careers as Tight Ends so they have good feet.

Draft only payers by the name of "Good Value" and trade that pick into next year.

Why is it the other Teams that have good Drafts like the Saints this year Drafted two guys we could have had who must have been named "Bad Value"? Are all the NFL Teams on the lookout for Bad Value too (sounds French)?

Those Saints have no idea what they are doing!

-Expect "knee-jerk reactions' to Patriot picks on draft day.
-Some mediot will find a way to bash the Patriots draft
-Some forum poster will always claim they would made better draft picks than BB.
-The Pats will continue to pick up VALUE in the draft despite all of the above and pick the players THEY WANT.

The Saints drafted 2 guys this year (in the first 2 rounds), and get to draft one next year.

We drafted 3 this year, and get to draft 4 next year.

If you want to argue that 2 first round picks and a second round pick is better than 3 first round picks and 4 second round picks, go ahead.

And both of the players the Saints pickerd were ones we had in for a visit or private workout and yet we still passed on them. Can we not agree DW, that if the Pats bought these players in for a close look and then decided that they weren't worth drafting, that they probably weren't?
