Default Rookie Orientation?

Is there some sort of Rookie Orientation that the NFL does for the new players? I seem to remember that there is but I cannot remember the details.

I would like to see some serious financial management seminars for these guy; many of them do not know how to manage their new wealth and blow it on full-length fur coats and cars and homes and their entourage and assorted leaches. Broke former NFL super stars should talk to the young pups.

On a more current issue I hope there is some encouragement to ditch all their old gangsta friends from the 'Hood; there are a tons of stories about NFL players that got into serious trouble because of their thugs-in-arms buddies.

(A) Yes, there is; (B) they address financial issues; (C) they have a rookie trivia challenge (based at least partly on the workshops, but also a few "NFL history"-type questions, IIRC) which the Patriots rookies have won at least twice.

IIRC, it's mandatory and rookies have been fined for skipping it or leaving early. It's where Aqib Talib got in a fight with his TB teammate (allegedly)....

Its looking like this CBA thing is gonna blow up on Fri. so who knows about this year with anything to do with rookies or any players for that matter. rookies cant sign contracts let alone attend a symposium. this is gonna be a weird offseason....
