O.K. Cousins.
Some of you will become livid. Some will cut me to shreds. Some will beg to differ. I put a few Blockbusters in and try to explain why they will work nor are they one sided (they could work). This is four rounds so one post per round. Have at it! Remember this is for fun and are my offerings.

Round 1
#1 Carolina Panthers: Blaine Gabbert QB, QB The Panthers have no second round pick. Clausen is a back-up maybe. This is your only shot at the best QB in the Draft. He is surely a top ten choice.#1? But you can’t gamble when Buffalo, Cincinnati, Arizona, San Francisco, Tennessee and Washington are also in the top ten and needing a first round graded QB.
#2 Denver Broncos: Nick Fairley, DT
#3 Buffalo Bills: Cam Newton QB, QB, The Bills need to become more exciting. Newton is raw but Chan is a superb QB professor. He can learn behind Fitzpatrick for now.
#4 Cincinnati Bengals: Da'Quan Bowers, DE
#5 Arizona Cardinals: Von Miller LB
#6 Cleveland Browns: A.J. Green, WR
#7 San Francisco 49ers: Patrick Peterson, CB
#8 Tennessee Titans: Marcell Dareus, DT/3-4 DE
#9 NE Patriots via Dallas Cowboys*: Robert Quinn, DE/OLB
*NE Trades G Logan Mankins, S Brandon Merriweather, G/T Nick Kaczur and N.E. pick #17 in the first round and the N.E. 4th round pick for OLB DeMarcus Ware, RB Marion Barber and Dallas #9. I can see the “are you nuts” posters typing as we speak. Dallas has major needs and desperate on the O Line. Kosier’s an FA . They have one starting Safety. And remember Mankins and Merriweather are Pro Bowlers. Kaczur won’t redo and Barber is on his way out of Dallas but is only 27. Fantasy? Maybe . Workable? Yes. See what the Boys do at #17 and it makes more sense. Jerry gets two stars instead of one. This mock is for fun after all. It can work in real life though. Merriweather is a 2012 FA so his value back to the Pats in 2011 was important. Jerry Jones will pay more for Mankins and Merriweather on new contracts and power agent Mr.Bauer cost his client Mankins millions last year so I am sure he will make a deal quick with Dallas.
#10 Buffalo Bills via Washington Redskins*: Cameron Jordan, DE * The Skins need a QB but none are left worthy of the #10 pick. Buffalo needs about everything. They give up their second round pick in 2011 and 2012 (Headline: Skins stockpile picks!). Stroud was released and the Bills need a D line stud. Pretty good Draft for the Bills so far. Great off season put Jordan this high.
#11 Houston Texans: Prince Amukamara, CB
#12 Minnesota Vikings: Muhammad Wilkerson, DT/DE
#13 Detroit Lions: Brandon Harris, CB
#14 St. Louis Rams: Julio Jones, WR
#15 Miami Dolphins: Mike Pouncey, G/C
#16 Jacksonville Jaguars: J.J. Watt, DT/3-4 DE
#17 Dallas Cowboys via NE: Aldon Smith, OLB/DE
#18 San Diego Chargers: Akeem Ayers, DE/OLB
#19 New York Giants: Anthony Castonzo OT OT Now come all the OT’s in a row!
#20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nate Solder, OT
#21 Kansas City Chiefs: Gabe Carimi, OT
#22 Indianapolis Colts: Tyron Smith, OT
#23 Philadelphia Eagles: Derek Sherrod, OT
#24 New Orleans Saints: Justin Houston, DE/OLB
#25 Seattle Seahawks: Jimmy Smith, CB
#26 Baltimore Ravens: Torrey Smith, WR
#27 Atlanta Falcons: Adrian Clayborn, DE
#28 New England Patriots: Danny Watkins G
#29 Chicago Bears: Stefen Wisniewski, C/G
#30 New York Jets: Phil Taylor, NT
#31 Pittsburgh Steelers: Benjamin Ijalana, G/T
#32 Green Bay Packers: Mark Ingram, RB

#33 San Diego via New England Patriots*: Ryan Kerrigan DE/OLB Purdue
*Pats get an upgrade in Safety in FS Eric Weddle. The Pats were 30th in Yards against in pass in 2010. Standing pat with the present suspects is not going to work again for the Patriots. They lose Merriweather, who had the most pure talent, to the ‘Boys, but gain Eric Weddle who is smart and is the DB quarterback that Belichick desires, had 96 tackles and has playmaking ability. He is only 26. The Chargers had a first round tender on Weddle but this works for them here. Weddle and Pat Chung could be the starting pair. Sanders has a CAP price just south of $3m which is too high for a rotation Safety and the Pats just re-upped Page and Barrett. We can see more moves. This could save money for the Patriots.
#34 Washington Redskins via Buffalo Bills: Ryan Mallett, QB High reward, high risk but he can sit behind Grossman for awhile. Perhaps the most tools of any QB in the Draft. He needs to mature.
#35 Cincinnati Bengals: Christian Ponder QB Sneaky good! Palmer insurance.
#36 Denver Broncos: Rahim Moore, FS
#37 Cleveland Browns: Cameron Heyward, DE
#38 Eagles via Arizona Cardinals*: Jabaal Sheard, DE/OLB *The Eagles trade their only QB to the Cards who is not named Mike. Kevin Kolb was seeking to start. The Eagles wanted a 1st rounder but someone brought up recent Pro Bowler Matt Cassell. The Birds settle on a need and get CB Greg Toler in Round 2, a new back up QB Derek Anderson over the inexperience Mike Kalfka plus the Cards fifth round pick.
#39 Tennessee Titans: Andy Dalton QB Dalton is underrated by his offense program but has the smarts and skills.
#40 Dallas Cowboys: Aaron Williams, CB/FS
#41 Washington Redskins: Mikel LeShoure, RB
#42 Houston Texans: Kendrick Ellis NT
#43 Washington Redskins via Minnesota Vikings*: Stephen Paea, DT/NT *The Vikes trade for Donavan McNabb. Let’s see if McNabb can move this Team
#44 Detroit Lions: Bruce Carter, OLB
#45 San Francisco 49ers: Colin Kaepernick QB They also pick up Vince Young for a 3rd round pick. They are very close in skill sets so this works.
#46 Denver Broncos: Martez Wilson, ILB
#47 St. Louis Rams: Ryan Williams RB
#48 Oakland Raiders: Marcus Cannon, G/T
#49 Jacksonville Jaguars: Quinton Carter, FS
#50 San Diego Chargers: Corey Liuget, DT
#51 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Sam Acho, DE/OLB
#52 New York Giants: Curtis Brown, CB
#53 Indianapolis Colts: Tyler Sash, SS
#54 Philadelphia Eagles: Rodney Hudson, C/G
#55 Kansas City Chiefs: Brooks Reed, DE/OLB
#56 New Orleans Saints: Marvin Austin, DT
#57 Seattle Seahawks: Jake Locker, QB
#58 Baltimore Ravens: Kyle Rudolph, TE
#59 Atlanta Falcons: Leonard Hankerson, WR
#60 New England Patriots: John Baldwin WR This was a case of BPA for the Pats. He should have not been there this late. Pats were looking for more O Line depth. it just worked out. They still need to sign a Vet WR and I see a 5th to the Bengals for WR Chad Ochocinco. Three youngsters like Tate, Edelman, Price and now another in Baldwin, are not NFL seasoned yet. It worked on the TE kids last year, but Price and Tate were not major factors in the passing game. Edelman and Tate were better in ST roles.
#61 San Diego Chargers: Randall Cobb, WR/KR Again a BPA choice and luxury pick for the Chargers but the will be losing at least two WR from the 2010 roster.
Round 3
#65 Carolina: Jarvis Jenkins DT #66 Cincinnati: Ras-I Dowling, CB
#67 Denver: Kendall Hunter RB
#68 Buffalo: Titus Young, WR
#69 Arizona: DeMarco Murray RB
#70 Cleveland: Jordan Todman RB
#71 Dallas: Brandon Burton CB
#72 New Orleans via Washington: DeAndre McDaniel S
#73 Houston: Tandon Doss, WR
#74 New England via Minnesota : John Moffitt OG
#75 Detroit: Quinton Carter S
#76 Tennessee via San Francisco*: Clint Boling OG *Titans ship Vince Young to S.F. Good luck Vince.
#77 Tennessee: Kelvin Sheppard ILB
#78 St. Louis: Stephen Schilling OG
#79 Miami: Daniel Thomas RB
#80 Jacksonville: Ricky Stanzi QB
#81 Oakland: Chimdi Chekwa CB
#82 San Diego: Shane Vereen RB
#83 New York Giants: Mason Foster, OLB
#84 Tampa Bay: Roy Helu RB
#85 Philadelphia: Johnny Patrick CB Yep, they need a Safety more. But they get N.E. Safety James Sanders for #119 (approx. pending comps) one of the Eagles two fourth rounders, as N.E. has to ship a fourth to Dallas. Reid likes N.E. DBs.
#86 Kansas City: Luke Stocker, TE Moeaki is the move TE. Stocker can bring his big frame in to do a little of both.
#87 Indianapolis: Jurrell Casey DT
#88 New Orleans: Chris Carter OLB
#89 San Diego via Seattle: Orlando Franklin OT
#90 Baltimore: Buster Skrine CB
#91 Atlanta: Dontay Moch OLB
#92 New England: James Carpenter OT
#93 Chicago: Jason Pinkston OT
#94 New York Jets: Allen Bailey DE
#95 Pittsburgh: Shareece Wright CB
#96 Green Bay : Joe Lefedged SS

So Dallas trades away DeMarcus Ware and the 9th pick to the Patriots and replaces him with Aldon Smith? Meanwhile the Patriots get DeMarcus Ware in a trade and also use the 9th pick on an OLB? My head is spinning.

"My head is spinning"...cool! I am thinking Exorcist here!

Quinn and Ware? I like the idea of moving up, but I don't think we take two OLB with 'one' pick.
That is fair but some see Quinn as a DE and is listed that way. I would really prefer Miller but I don't think he lasts until #9. I fought with this but I can see it work. Put these two on the outside and I think pass rush is cured.
Anyway the Cowboys are desperate for quality OL help and a substantial Safety. We sacrifice as do they. Jerry will pay those two as the Pats will not give them what they want.
Fair enough. So say it you, but stranger things have happened. Two dominating players switch Teams and some sprinkles on top go with it. It is also the kind of stage Jerry Jones likes. High profilers moving around like poker chips.
Would.....Britpat.....make this move what-hey Governor? Methinks though would. What say you?
