Default Ras-I Dowling: Drop in Stock?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the early projections of Ras-I Dowling higher than they are currently [20th on NFP, 3rd on Scout.com, 11th on WalterFootball.com]?

Wes Bunting [of NFP] wrote an article which made a case for moving Prince to the safety position, much like Malcom Jenkins and Antrel Rolle. Then in his first mock, he predicts/forecasts the Patriots to take Prince. I think the same case can be made for Ras-I Dowling, who will lack the 40 speed to warrant being drafted as a pure cover corner.

With that said, I'm very high on Dowling and I'm wondering why he dropped [minus early injury].
