Default National Football Post Mock

They are very high on Ben Ijalama. They have us taking him at #28. I have him certainly as a Patriots prospect but not until the late 2nd or 3rd round. The have us taking JJ Watt at #17.

But then many had Mayo as a late 2nd rounder at this stage.

Good site with write ups when you click on the player name.

If Von Miller and Aldon Smith made it to 16 I'd seriously consider leapfrogging Jville. Clayborn would be 4th choice.

Damn Cam Jordan for his fantastic performance.

Miller and Clayborn are both pretty poor scheme picks. I'd be all over Aldon at #13, though (he goes 15).

Give me a football player who can disrupt the passing game and tackle. I'll worry about scheme later.

Seriously, they will pass on whoever we agree upon as a Patriots LB that fits all of Bills requirements anyway. And no, Mayo doesn't say hello. He is an ILB.

He could take Brooks Reed.

People have told me Clayborn doesn't fit what the Patriots do and I don't understand why. He played end in a 4-3 at 285 so he is not a dwarf or anything. We don't know if he can hold the point of attack or not. Has got some speed. Has probably the best hands in this draft for shedding tacklers. I'd be interested to see why he had such a sub par season with Iowa in 10'. If he would of came out as a junior he was a top 20 pick. I'm sure the Pats scouts will know more closer to April then we will if he is a Patriots player or not.

Clayborn is pretty much the perfect example of a tweener for the Pats system. His frame is pretty much maxed out, so he's not fitting the 15-30 pounds he needs to add to play DE. Combined with less than ideal length, it makes him a poor fit at DE. He doesn't have nearly enough speed for the OLB position and has the same length problems there as well.

Evidently his microsoft works wasn't working right for him and he did not drag him up by accident. Or he thinks this Beal is the next Ernest Shazor.

Other noteables. Phil Taylor at 59? Ras I Dowling at 109?

You guys are looking at the wrong Grid: The one on the RIGHT is the Mock Draft.

The one you're looking at ~ the one on the left ~ is just his Grading Scale.

Look at the last column on the right, and you'll see what I mean.

I'm pretty sure he's not recommending that Owen Marecic should go with the 21st pick in the Draft!!

They, uh...REALLY need to work on how they present that, dontcha think??
