Default Adopt-a-prospect: CB Josh Wilson

Too short? I've got you're too short right here. Here's the recap from a scout whose name rhymes with WryMeat:

Rare timed speed … Rare physicality and toughness at the position … Reads the action well and is usually in good position to make a play on the ball … A competitor and won't back down to bigger wideouts … Adjusts well to the ball and is a good leaper, able to break up the pass at its highest point … Father, the late Tim Wilson, was fullback during Earl Campbell era for Houston … Takes his academics seriously … Has earned academic honors each of the past two seasons while majoring in business administration … Has had some of his best games against top competition...

The Terrapins play a similar 3-4 to the Patriots, trusting their cornerbacks to shut down the WR man-to-man. This is Josh Wilson's game. What King Kong is to airplanes, Josh Wilson is to footballs.

His numbers: 5' 9 1/4", 189 lbs. 40 yard dash between 4.39 and 4.42. 10 and 20 yard splits: 1.46/2.50. 20 benches. Long Jump/Vertical Jump: 10'0"/36.5. SS/LS/3C: 4.28/11.64/7.07. 22 years old senior.

Career Stats: 4 Sacks
128 tackles, 41 solo, 5 for loss
2 INT
20 passes defensed
3 blocked kicks
31 ko returns 847 yards TD
44 games, 2 year starter

He would fit in with the other Smurfs that BB likes to draft.

Yeh, but can this "Meat" fellow be trusted? I mean "Wry," that sounds like a descriptor for a potent alcoholic beverage or a pungent bread. Truly any Archie Bunker fan growing up knows the dangers of "meathead," especially if it's too long in the sun. If I didn't already have Wilson as one of my top three CB's in this draft I'd be warily looking at Chris Houston for pastrami connections after a scouting report from such a source.
