Pats will not draft LB in 1st rd - Page 2 - New England Patriots Forums

and btw, I called both the maroney and jackson pick last year, as well as watson before (Ill be honest-I wasn't expecting wilfork, but it became an obvious BPA situation as he fell down the board, and mankins came out of nowhere for every1 so w/e). maybe I've been lucky, but if you watch all the games closely/keep pats scheme in mind/look at numbers and video for prospects, you can get a pretty good idea of who the pats are going to seriously consider taking. my opinion may differ from others, but I enjoy hearing other reasonable (aka not "we dont need a stomper) arguments from people on the forum. my responses may seem aggressive, but its simply because I want another super bowl badly and this draft will have a huge impact on making that possible (and my choices will work... haha jp).

as far as stewart bradley goes, I liked him, but my buddy whos a HUGE nebraska fan shook his head on that one, so I deferred to his cornhusker wisdom. still might be a steal if he slipped to the end of rd 3...

and bruins you may have gotten my post confused. your argument seemed to be that the pats have gone against conventional thought in the past few drafts-which only reaffirms my initial point that despite everyone thinking the pats will go LB 1st rd that they will go a different direction.

A lot of us would like them to draft a LB in the first round, but I think you would be confusing the situation by saying the consensus on here is that NE will select a LB in the first round.

You lost all credibility by listening to a Cornhusker fan. I know a few of them and they only see red and have become severe fatalists.
