I see Indy trading up with Chicago or Jacksonville. They (Indy) need a RB and if White, Maroney, and Williams all fall and they feel that there is a dropoff between those three and Addai, it seems to reason that as soon as the second the three big names is taken, they'll try to trade with the next team picking to try to get him.
If they don't and this goes according to form, they sweat #28 and #29 hoping that the JAgs or Jets don't take Addai, otherwise they are left with....
none of the top 4 RBs in the draft.
If I can figure this out, so can the other teams. I guess it's sort of BB/Pioli esque value grouping...

In that scenario, there's no way they don't take Chad Jackson, IMO.

Seattle taking a center (and a raw one at that)? Didn't they take a center last year first round?

Yeah but Seattle's not afraid to use a high or even a first round pick on an O'lineman...just usually not with their first pick.....2000 rd 1 Chris McIntosh T Wisc (Sea's second pick of the round)2001 rd 1 Steve Hutchinson G Mich (Sea's second pick of the round)2002 rd 5 Matt Hill T Boise St (Seat third pick of the round)2003 rd 3 Wayne Taylor T Hawaii2004 rd 3 Sean Locklear T NC state 2005 rd 1 Chris Spencer C Miss.

It is interesting to see who he has Cleveland take, Broderick Bunkley DT, Miami Winston Justice LOT, and Dallas Santonio Holmes, WR.

I thought Bunckley was more of a one-gap penetrator than a two-gap NT, but he might be penciled as a 3-4 end too.

Miami 's selection of a LOT is pretty good, as they have given up on Damion McIntosh and signed Cardinals reject LJ Shelton to play left tackle; that has to be a stop-gap desperation. Withoout a two the Phish won't get a a LOT since they are usually goen by the end of round 2. RT and guards are usually what's left by the third.

Parcells picking a WR after signing TO seems like a decision as if TO were not there. I don't think it will happen. OTOH, Gosselin has very good ties to the 'Boys and I respect what he says about their intentions...
