It's an inexact science. Seymour has extremely long arms. Him doing 18 translates to about 22-24. I usually weary of offensive tackles who put up 25-35 reps, because it probably means they're short-armed.

I remember it took Fred Smoot a lot of practice to get his 1. I was reading (no joke) something last week about how Smoot was spending the offseason bulking up, and he was up to 3 reps.
