1. N.Y. Jets(trade, Houston Texans)
Reggie Bush RB USC I don't this would happen because the Jets have so many other needs. If it did, though, I would be very sad because we are in the same conference as the Jets.
2. New Orleans
Mario Williams DE NC State
3. Tennessee Titans
Matt Leinart QB USC
4. Houston Texans(trade N.Y.Jets)
D'Brickashaw Ferguson T Virginia
5. Green Bay Packers
A.J. Hawk LB Ohio St.
6. San Francisco 49ers
Vernon Davis TE Maryland
7. Oakland Raiders
Vince Young QB Texas
8. Buffalo Bills
Haloti Ngata DT Oregon
9. Detroit Lions
Winston Justice OT USC
10. Arizona Cardinals
Michael Huff DB Texas
11. Minnesota Vikings (trade, St. Louis Rams)
Jay Cutler QB Vanderbilt It seems doubtful that the Vikings would trade up to take a QB to me. Seems to me like they would take a RB or OL where they were instead.
12. Cleveland Browns
Chad Greenway LB Iowa
13. Baltimore Ravens
Broderick Bunkley DT Florida State
14. Philadelphia Eagles
Kamerion Wimbley DE/LB Florida St.
15. Denver Broncos (from Atlanta Falcons)
Santonio Holmes WR Ohio St.
16. Miami Dolphins
Tye Hill CB Clemson
17. St. Louis Rams(trade, Minnesota Vikings)
Manny Lawson DE/LB North Carolina State
18. Dallas Cowboys
Jimmy Williams CB/S Virginia Tech
19. San Diego Chargers
Donte Whitner S Ohio St.
20. Kansas City Chiefs
Bobby Carpenter LB Ohio St.
21. New England Patriots
Ernie Sims LB Florida St. Personally, I would prefer Chad Jackson, DeAngelo Williams or DeMeco Ryans here. Sims would probably be Rodney's safety-in-training.
22. Denver Broncos(trade, Washington Redskins)
DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis
23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Antonio Cromartie CB Florida St.
24. Cincinnati Bengals
Gabe Watson DT Michigan
25. N.Y. Giants
Richard Marshall CB Fresno St.
26. Chicago Bears
Mercedez Lewis TE UCLA Lewis seems to have dropped lately. The Bears should take the best player available, Chad Jackson, here.
29. Houston Texans(trade, N.Y. Jets through Denver Broncos via Atlanta Falcons)
Nick Mangold C Ohio St. I just like that this pick goes through 5 teams.
30. Indianapolis Colts
Demaco Ryans LB Alabama
31. Seattle Seahawks
Max Jean-Gilles G Georgia
32. Pittsburgh Steelers
LenDale White RB USC
Other than Jackson falling out of the 1st round, which I find somewhat unlikely (although I did forecast it in a recent mock ), this is an overall good draft for most teams. Again, I would prefer another player to Sims, especially with so many safeties on the roster.

Sims I heard would like to get an opportunity to play LB, and with Tedy Bruschi in question, and Sims may be a good fit with his speed, and Belicheck could find a way to use him. The Bears could go for Jackson, but they also need that big target they could go to in the red zone, so I was flipping back and forth between Pope and Lewis. With the Vikings, outside of Brad Johnson, who I think is 90, ok maybe 89, whoelse do they got? That is a scary thought. Cutler makes more sense than drafting an RB or OLineman.

Though Sims could, theoretically, play linebacker, I think he would be a much better SS because of his excellent coverage skills and average tackling. Probably would excel in a 46 defense SS role, maybe the Ravens should take him .

I was thinking about saying something about how Pope should definitely go before Lewis when I realized I know nothing about either. Still prefer Chad Jackson to a TE, though.

The Vikings have Mike McMahon and J.T. O'Sullivan I just don't think that Cutler is good value when trading up in comparison to a RB or OL at #17, especially given that using the draft value chart (http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/pick_value_chart.htm) the Vikings would have to give up a third round pick to move up to 11. I don't see any teams between 11 and 17 taking Cutler, though, and if Cutler fell to 17, I would not be surprised to see the Vikings take him.

Actually it would be their second round pick(51st pick which they got fom Miami), but the Rams give up their 7th rounder to make up the difference.
Truthfully, you really think either Mike McMahon and JT O'Sullivan is the future in Minnesota?
As of RB, they should be able to get a pretty good RB in round 2, maybe Maurice Drew. In round 3, they could get the OLineman, say Rob Sims.
