Why would you be surprised about that? The Pats need 2 OLB/DEs as it stands right now.

Of course, they also need an ILB, WR, and OG.. CB is probably 5th or 6th on the list.

for the reason you gave. Maybe I should have been a bit clearer in my original post. I would be surpirsed if they took two OLB/DE with their first 4 picks. I have no issue with them taking 2 OLD/DE, but I think 1 should be taken within the first 4 picks, and then one later. Like you said, there are other holes to fill.

I would think with the 12 picks and all the 6th and 7th rounders, we'll sign fewer free agents. I say about 6 draftees make the roster, 2 or 3 on IR and 3 to 5 make the practice squad.

The Graham and Gresham pick are terrible. Kindle should be the pick or trade down and try to get a 3rd round pick and take Spikes.

Graham ---> Kindle or trade down and try to get a 3rd round pick*
Gresham ----> OT/G
Hughes -----> Good pick
Williams -----> Good pick

Assuming no trades

22: Kindle is the pick closer to the Pats desired measurables

44: I am actually ok with the Gresham pick given who is off the board and who is available later

47 can't see two OLB's though Hughes and Sapp are tempting. I like McCluster here, but I will go more conventiional with adding Kareem Jackson

53 Arrelious Benn makes this draft being available here.
