Pete Carroll should know Price pretty well having coached across town at USC and played him 3 times. There are also rumors that Carroll wants Seattle to take Taylor Mays at #14, but that the scouting corps are baulking.

As you say, anything can happen.
I wonder if Carroll would make a run at Lienart????

Not so easy to do with Kurt Warner retiring.

There are many people in Philly who are praying that Arizona makes Andy Reid an offer for McNabb. If Lord Farvequad retires, there could actually be a bidding war for his services. Leinert to Seattle could then make sense.

I think that Philly would be more than happy to get some draft picks for McNabb and start Kevin Kolb at QB. Philly could trade both McNabb and Vick and really stockpile some picks (which they are known to do).

Totally unrelated, but since it's a Dunlap thread, Dunlap to Philly at #24 is one of the more common mock draft projections, if he lasts that long.

With the 22nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select, denfensive end from the University of Florida Carlos Dunlap

(I feel the more you say something the more likelihood that it will come true)

I don't see Carlos Dunlap being a Bill Belichick type of player. First of all the kid gets drunk the week of the Alabama game and gets a DUI. Its not the Bama game was a big game or anything. It was only the most hyped SEC title game ever with both teams being undefeated and the Natl Title on the line. How can you trust this guy after he does this in college? Does this sound like someone BB would take first round?

I think that is the first reason we don't draft him. The second reason is that he takes plays off and gets by in college on athleticism. That tape from the Tennessee game on Youtube was embarassing. He made no impact in that entire game. Walter football compares this guy to Jamaal Anderson another player who had a mediocre work ethic and was lazy.

I don't see an explosive first step out of Dunlap like Peppers at all. He is also weak at the point of attack and isnt as athletic as hes hyped up to be. He also lacks pass rush moves and hes very inconsistent. I also dont like his intangibles at all and to me he looks lazy at times. Just read what Walter Football thinks about him on his site. This kid looks like Gholston 2.0.

Why take a chance on Dunlap when we could take Brandon Graham as an OLB. This kid is Woodley 2.0. He is excellent vs the run. He can anchor and set the edge and hes very strong at the point of attack. He dominated for two full years in college and led the country in TFL Senior year. He is relentless rushing the passer and he uses his hands very well. AT 263 pounds he definitely has the size to play OLB in our scheme. He isn't a workout warrior and I bet he doesnt have a good forty like Woodley. The guy is just a football player. Line him up as the elephant and he becomes a beast. Todd Mcshay said hes a BB kind of player. Hes an extremly hard worker as well.

The only question mark with him is can he drop into coverage?

We better not pass on him because hes 6-1. Height doesnt mean anything! You can't measure heart and work ethic. The kid is a player who has produced at the highest level and had a great senior bowl week. I hope BB learned from his mistake in 07 when he passed on Woodley twice! DRAFT BRANDON GRAHAM AT 22!
