Well golly, since you out it that way, losing your starting RB for the season can't compare to the immense damage of losing a starting LG for 3/4 of a game.

Judging by the excellent season by his backup, it seems to me Blount only hurt himself. And the Boise State player. The team suspended him...not the conference. So it's hard to make the claim that he hurt the team by his future absence. It was a gross over-reaction, I thought at the time.

Football is a violently emotional game. Stuff like this happens. If Blount is hanging around in the middle rounds, I wouldn't hesitate to draft him.
