Default Who can we trade for picks?

Or....Who do you NOT want back next year?

Can we get anything if we trade Adalius Thomas or will we have to eat his salary. Not sure he is a positive influence on the team.

We need to get rid of 2 of our 5 RB's and get younger and as I have been saying for years...get a Dillion type RB. Three are 30+.
Our's get injured to much which happens I know.

Anyone else worth much in a trade?

thanks

Trade Maroney and Thomas for whatever can be had in draft picks. Perhaps, a third round pick for Maroney, and a fifth or sixth round for Thomas.

I'll say it again... Try to acquire Michael Bush from Oakland. He's a Dillon type.

I think Matt Light could bring a 3rd or 4th rounder... especially from the Chiefs. Adalius Thomas would probably be released due to teams not wanting his contract.

I hope we resign Wilfork, but he would bring two 1st's if tagged.

Light, Kaczur, Maroney, Thomas

Wilfork MAYBE tag & trade, then draft someone like Cody to replace him.

I don't think the Patriots have a lot of guys who would bring significant draft picks in return. Of the guys they may be willing to trade, I could see Matt Light fetching a 3rd (maybe late 2nd) from a team looking to solidify their Oline. The Chiefs, Seahawks, and Redskins would make sense. I don't think anyone will trade for Adalius at his current cap number. I think trading Maroney at this point would be a mistake. I can't see another team giving up more than a 4th rounder for him at this point in his career and I'd say his downside (put him back at KR and as a backup RB) is worth more than that.

I forgot about him. He was ok the few times I seen him run.

Sure trade all those folks and use the draft picks to HOPE to replace them with equal production.

The ides is to get better value. If we were happy with guys we trade or relase its so that we can improve the team. A lot of playes did not perform up to what we expected.
After this year; we need to improve a lot.

Okay, am I understanding this correctly... Shouldn't New England move up from the twenty-fifth pick to the twenty-second pick since the Jets, Baltimore and Arizona won.

The answer to your question is that no player listed in this thread would give the patriots more value in trade than in playing for the patriots in 2010, a no-cap year.
