Default How Would Feel About This Day One?

THREE GOOD MEN
Everette Brown
Gilbert
Moore

Day Two would then be the time for the backup interior lineman, OT and ILB.

I've had him as a low 1st for a couple of months. I'm still amazed to see how many have him a round later or more, especially with so many defensess switching to the 34.

I presume you mean Donald Brown, the Connecticut RB? Day 1 seems a tad high for Cody Brown the Connecticut DE/OLB, or Andre Brown the North Carolina St. RB.

Yeah, first names would help for those of us who aren't draftniks.

Here's a tidbit on Everette Brown from an article on top Florida prospects in the Miami Herlad, citing Russ Lande at the Sporting News:

Ranking the state's top NFL draft prospects - FSU - MiamiHerald.com

1. FSU linebacker/end Everette Brown (top 15 picks). The Dolphins, picking 25th, have spent time with Brown (13.5 sacks in 2008), but he's expected to go sooner. "He will get in trouble against the run but can be a special pass-rusher," Lande said. "One scout told me, `I like the kid but I loved [ex-FSU first-round linebacker] Kamerion Wimbley and the Browns are disappointed in him. Wimbley looked like more of a sure thing than Brown, so how do I go to bat saying he's a top 10 pick? It makes me nervous.' ''

I see Brown as an undersized 4-3 DE with nice moved. He might do well on a team such as Indy - Brown and Freeney would be a terrific combo. I don't see him as a 3-4 OLB for the Pats.

I like it as long as you mean Everett Brown. Also, aren't there 4 picks day one? I would also add in a OG like Wood there.

I don't know if we're talking about Donald Brown, Everette Brown, or freaking Jim Brown, but all 3 are pretty good.

FWIW--I really think that some of the people who were sold on Darius Butler for BB at #23 may be mis-guided by his likeness for Cody Brown--the OLB/DE hybrid that you're speaking of. I heard he gave him a 30-35 minute chalk talk, so I wouldn't be too shocked if we took him at #58 or #89, if still around. #47 is a possibility too, IDK.
