TRADES:
Tampa Bay>Cleveland-#50 and #81 For Browns TE K.Winslow
The Browns felt they knew something the Bucs did not and they ain’t tellin’. Winslow is a talent but…... Perhaps Mangini can turn one of these top choices into a “new and improved” Winslow like a Cook, Coffman or Ingram without the drama.

Detroit>N.E-#33 and #82 for first pick in round one (#23).The Lions jump back in to get QB Freeman. Round Two belongs to the Pats.

Jacksonville>Chicago #8 (1st) For Chicago round one #18 and round three #49.The playmaking receiver the Bears have needed. Before surgery, Crabtree was rated the best player in the draft by some.

Philadelphia>N.E.
- WR G.Lewis and 2010 Eagles 7th for N.E. 2009 Fifth round. A yawner…Lewis is a number four or five on the Eagles depth chart who have no WRs. Does he jump to number three in New England? Oh well! His salary and CAP is cheap.

I won't knock your mock because everybody has an opinion and they are fun to do but Rey Maualuga won't last until pick 33. Don't follow the media when they move people all around. They do it to gain hits and keep changing them up so people will flock to read and comment on their mocks. They do this because they need to fill the month long space between the All-Star Bowl games, combine and the draft. After the USC Pro-Day they will rate Rey around 16 or higher and talk about how it's because of his Pro-Day and he's healthy but in reality he never really fell that far. They do this to alot of players every year. Don't by into the media hoax.

Good mock though.

Interesting and reasonable trade projections, but I'd say there's a much better chance that Jarron Gilbert is gone by #34 than that he lasts to #82.

Our dirst 2 draft picks have wonderlic scores of 15? Wonderful, smartest team in the league to the dumbest...

Good point cousin, but it occurs to some that these scores are leaked by none other than opposing team management (Say Bill, you shouldn't draft that guy. He is really stupid!). Those scores are not supposed to be released. Me thinks that some teams are up to mischief. These aren't for public record. What if those scores are B.S.?

Wilfork, Hobbs and a few others on our team had bad scores (thanks DB). Are they dumb, or do they just test bad? Look at Watson. His Wonderlic rang the bell and yet it did not translate to make him a great TE.Wilfork=All Pro, Watson= ?

I'm just saying. I don't think BB drops a guy because of Wonderlic scores. Delmas is scheduled to visit. That will tell. I think they have already talked to Rey. Actually I think they want William Moore, but it didn't fall right here. This Mock means nothing but a viewpoint. Not every player I picked for the Pats is my binkie. It just worked out with these.

You know what would be funny? If the people who leak these test scores and media members who print these in the paper with malice in their hearts, had to go into a film room and study football schemes and they were scored on their actual knowledge of what their reporting on.

Because the irony of these scores is this: Dan Marino I believe scored a 12 and yet he can retire from football and become a member of the media but how many media members and journalists retire from writing and strap on the football uniform?

Most of these players don't score well because they don't take it seriously because all they are training for and consentrating on are football related activities.
That's why a career back-up QB could score a high score of a 40 and yet can hardly throw a 10 yard out pass and hit the WRer on the numbers.

Didnt Merriweather have a poor wonderlic score

Im not sold on it .. just because you dont know your percentages or the next number in a sequence means squat when it comes to football smarts and natural instinct .. it can be a guide but not the only one

Im sure BB and the FO have their own X's and O's test they give guys they work out

I like the draft and I think theres as mcuh chance of trading down from #23 as anything else. I would probably take Beatty at #23 though

DW - Overall, a much better effort than your first go around.

Seattle isn't going to touch Andre Smith. I'd be surpried if Smith gets taken in the 1st round at all.

The Green Bay picks don't make sense. You have them taking 2 conversion projects in Jackson and Barwin when they already have 2 conversion projects in Kampman and Montgomery.

I don't think that New England would make the trade with Detroit because they'd be giving up a full year of eligibility on a contract. Also, one of the big issues over Michel Johnson is whether he's got the attitude to play football. That, in and of itself, will keep him from being a Patriot. I know a lot of people like James Casey, but I don't see the Pats using a draft pick this year on a TE when they've got cheap options on the team already behind Baker. I question people saying the Pats will take Andre Brown. There really isn't a spot on the team for him. Not with Morris, Taylor, Faulk, and Maroney already there. Brown also has some concerns because of the Lisfranc injury he suffered.

Why would Dallas take Ron Brace when they have very good depth at NT and DE already?

I suggest you go look at the wonderlic test scores that I posted in the other thread. There are plenty of current Patriots whose scores are in the teens. That includes Wilfork, Warren and Meriweather.
