Default Any deep sleepers to share?

Here's one I'm trying to track down more info on:

Vaughn Martin, DT, Western Ontario
6'4" 317 4.91
Martin is a Jamaican/Canadian kid who was recruited by Michigan State but couldn't qualify academically. NFLDraftScout.com has a good writeup on him that had me thinking Pats-style 3-4 DE all the way...and sure enough, their comparison at the end is to Richard Seymour.

Any insights on Martin, or any other deep sleepers to keep our eyes out for?

I have watched this kid play and he is a man among boys but plays in the Ont. Conference which has some weak teams. He has the stats to get consideration but his level of competition was my only drawback and he was not even an All Canadian (All American equivalent) but you never know.

On kid who played in the East West Shine Game was Simeon Rottier who is very athletic but needs 15 to 20lbs. They had him at RT during the Shrine practices but moved him mid week back to his natural side of the left and he impressed. He is the #1 recruit coming out of Canadian University right now (Canadian Interuniversity Sport). # 2 on that list is a unreal RB who plays at my Alma mater Jamal Lee who is another Canadian looking like a top prospect (I watched him rush for over 400 yards against McGill last season).

Rottier holds his own where the big boys come out to play

Canadian Interuniversity Sport

On a final note on the Canadian side of things Camaron Wake the Defensive MVP of the CFL the last two season and should have been league MVP sign with the Dolphins pretty cheap. This guy was unreal and wish we could have given him a look before he signed with Miami.

Until they figure out what they're doing with Cassel, there are no FA linemen in the Pats' future.

Chris Baker, DE at Hampton.

Kid has 1st round talent and a 10 cent brain. He will get picked in the later rounds, but he's twice gotten into serious off-the-field fights in his college career.

The way he moves around and his size 6'3 245lbs I was thinking more of an OLB behind Vraible pushing guys like Crable and Woods. But I totally agree they have to figure out the Cassel situation first then we will see where the domino's will fall. I have said it before I hope we Franchise Cassel and have him traded in that two or three week window before FA starts.

SS Stephen Hodge, TCU (6-0 214) - played like a true Rodney Jr. against Boise State in their bowl game.

EDIT: From the TX vs The Nation weigh-in - S Stephen Hodge TCU 5'11 1/2"/236 8 1-2" hands, 30 3-4" arms....plus 22 pounds means he either slacked off and got fat or TCU were lying through their teeth or he's been hitting the weightroom and chow line hard since the season ended. This could be an effort to market himself as a 4-3 OLB for the draft, if he has any speed/quickness at that size I'd really love to get him for SS.

Slade Norris, OLB Oregon State(6'3"-245lbs.)

Kind of a tweener guy but could be a good fit at olb in the 3-4. He has a ton of TFL and seems to set the edge well. Could be a late round pick or UDFA that could be a pass rush specialist.

The two-week window is for franchising players. No trades until FA begins, however.

Sammie Lee Hill (6'3" 325)

Another very raw player from a small school. Showed a little in the east west shrine game. From everthing I have found on him he is an athletic freak, runs a 5.0 fourty. Played DT, DE, TE, and FB for Stillman.

here is an article on him.
