Re: BRB Film Review on why Texans will play better
That was a really poor article. He let his biases ruin what might have been something worthwhile. For example, there's a reason that the Texans stopped running outside, and BB talked about it: The Patriots coaching staff saw what happened in the first couple of plays and almost immediately made adjustments to stop the wide runs.

That's the feeling I came away with Deus. It could have been a very good article that degenerated into look at what was available on film whilst disregarding game speed.
It ended up being an article of wishful thinking than a thorough breakdown piece.
Re: BRB Film Review on why Texans will play better
This is an excellent breakdown.. really put in the work on it but as has been said, it's from the POV of a Texan fan, and so the objectivity isn't entirely there.
He doesn't get the big picture of our defensive game plan for that game which was to just nudge Schaub off his game with the idea, that once he's off his game, he tends to stay off.
Unfortunately for him, the keys WILL change. With this being a playoff game and with the Patriots having two weeks off, BB would be severely remiss if he overlooked that detail. If past playoff games have served as any indication, Scahub will see a few things he has never seen before.
Re: BRB Film Review on why Texans will play better
"if they did not forget how to play their own patented brand of football", "capitalize on turnovers, dont make mistakes"... Sounds like a good plan to me. Sounds like he's expecting BB to come out with the same scheme. NOT!

This guy clearly has a Texans bias. If he could pick up on any defensive tendencies I'm sure BB has already found and eliminated them during the bye week self scouting.
garrett graham is not guaranteed to play on sunday. he sustained a concussion last week and has not been cleared yet.

"He’s the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. He goes from being a rookie that nobody is expecting anything from, to taking over with people saying he can’t do it, to winning three Super Bowls....It should already be obvious he’s the greatest quarterback to ever have played. "
Re: BRB Film Review on why Texans will play better
i liked the breakdown, much of what was said made perfect sense with the evidence being provided right there....
having said that, its obviously a texans fan writing it, so you gotta understand that his bias is gonna seep in and mar it a little bit, but still informative, look at the evidence, ignore his conclusions

I wonder how going 1 for 4 in the red zone and throwing a pick six, while having one of the best receivers in the league inexcusabley drop an easy TD pass in the end zone constitutes a perfect game on offense?
If that is considered perfect then the bar has been set mighty low in Houston.
And Graham suffered a concussion in the Bengals game, his second of the season. He practiced yesterday but he is no guarantee to either play or play well.
