The Patriots got a bit of good news on Wednesday, with the Boston Herald reporting that left guard Logan Mankins and defensive end Chandler Jones were both back at practice.
While it's a positive sign, there's still a long time to go before Monday's showdown against the Texans and this simply could be a case of both players trying to start working their way back into the line-up.
The Herald also reports that linebacker Dont'a Hightower, running back Shane Vereen, offensive lineman Nick McDonald and tight end Rob Gronkowski were among other players not spotted.
Meanwhile Comcast Sports New England's Mary Paoletti reports that not only were Mankins and Jones back at practice,so was running back Brandon Bolden, who is back after being suspended four games back on November 9th.
Bolden was productive prior to his suspension, having carried 43 times for 234 yards (5.4avg) and two touchdowns. Β He also is tied with Ridley with 2 carries over 20 yards this season.
