The Patriots got their first rookie under contract when Markell Carter under contract earlier this afternoon, and it appears they've also reached a deal with another one.
According to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com, New England has agreed to terms with fifth-round TE Lee Smith, making him the second rookie to sign with the team.
Terms of the deal haven't been disclosed, but he's reportedly received a signing bonus of $171,480.
Fans will finally get a glimpse of these guys tomorrow when the team holds their first public practices at Gillette Stadium.
