According to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report, the St. Louis Rams will be playing in London next season. The Rams will play an AFC opponent, believed to be the New England Patriots.
The 2012 game will still be considered be a Rams "home" contest, which would mean the Patriots would still play 8 games at Gillette Stadium next season.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in October that he had been talking to several teams about playing in London on a regular basis. While no one team has agreed to play a home game overseas every season, the NFL has committed to play at least one regular-season contest there through 2016.
